CAKE FLAVOR: Chocolate Cake and Edible Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough FILLING(S):Chocolate Ganache OUTER FROSTING: Italian Meringue Buttercream DECOR: Valentine Sprinkles and Edible Gold Balls SIZE: 6" As you already know, Greg LOVES cake. So what better gift to give him on Valentine's Day than a cake. A whole 6" cake all to himself. This also gave me a chance to test out a new flavor ;). He has no problem being my guinea pig. I've been wanting to make an edible cookie dough cake for awhile now so I thought this would be a great opportunity. I added a little peanut butter to the cookie dough of course.
For the decorations, I wanted to keep it fairly simple. I did want to add a white choclate drip but unfortunately I didn't realize I ran out. My main goal was to make this cake scream Valentine's Day, which I feel I was successful at. |
