This cake was a very special and unique cake I made for my very own sister's (Tori or Victoria) birthday. Not unique because of the design but because of what was inside. After I spoke with my mom about the cake I wanted to make, we both realized that Tori doesn't really care for any kind of cake flavor but I knew that she liked Rice Krispie treats. So that's what I did.

Ever since we were young my sister's favorite color has been purple and as she grew up, teal was added to the mix. With this in mind, I already knew how I wanted to decorate it.

The inside of this cake was made with four layers of Rice Krispie treats that I molded into 6" rounds. I put a thin layer of Italian meringue buttercream in between each layer. I was so happy with the way this cake turned out. I like how smooth the buttercream was on the outside and how pretty the drip looked. She was very happy with it too.
