CAKE FLAVOR: Vanilla FILLING(S): Chocolate Buttercream and Chocolate Ganache OUTER FROSTING: Vanilla Buttercream DECOR: Fondant Eyes and Cookie SIZE: 10" This cake came out super cute and I am very happy with the end results. The most difficult part of this cake was dying the buttercream. Buttercream starts out a very pale yellow or almost white, so trying to make it a bright blue requires a lot of food coloring. I used a Wilton 233 tip to create Cookie Monster's fir. The fir took quite awhile to pipe because I had to cover almost the entire 10 inch cake. My hand was definitely cramping after I was finished. My favorite part of the cake was the fake cookie. I decided to add a cute fondant cookie to add to the fun animated aspect.
